Description

Set amongst the ruins of the Nendrum Monastery at Mahee Island, the Ghosts of Nendrum mediascape brings to life past inhabitants of the historic site. Explore the Nendrum site using a GPS mobile device, and discover the nine ghosts that haunt the ruined monastery. Return the artefacts to their rightful owner to put the ghosts to rest and unlock the secret of Nendrum.

Setup instructions

This is an anchored mediascape, that must be played at the Nendrum Monastic Site, in Co. Down, Northern Ireland. On arrival at the gate, start the mediascape. Walk towards the inner cashel of the monastery while listening to the introductory and instructional animations. The map of Nendrum will appear with the nine ghosts represented by named pins. You must approach each ghost, listen to their tale and select their artefact from the artefact screen. If you chose correctly the ghost will thank you and disappear off the map. Once you have returned all nine artefacts, you will unlock the secret of Nendrum. Happy Ghostbusting!
