  <title>Riot 1831!</title>
<short_description>Riot 1831! is a voice-play dramatisation of true events. Each scene is written for a specific location within Queen Square in Bristol, England. Move around the square to listen to the everyday stories and accounts of the rioters who protested in in that actual square for three days in 1831.

The riots occurred when thousands of Bristolians took to the streets in revolt against the defeat of the Reform Bill in the House of Lords. At the height of the unrest almost all the buildings in Queen Square were burnt to the ground. Hundreds of protesters died, almost 90 were sent to prison and four were hanged. </short_description>
