An historical exploration of Victoria Park, Bedminster, Bristol. Take a moment to look around and imagine the landscape before the park existed.
Local historian Barb Drummond discusses the social conditions that may have led to the park's construction, and the story of its building. You can discover the the monuments and structures that once existed here. All of this helps to build a picture of vibrant social space that plays such an important part of the community today.
Setup instructions
The main instruction is to wander! Active regions cover the paths and the grass areas (but please respect the flower beds - there's nothing there but flowers). Two levels of content exist in the bandstand, so a return visit is useful. More layers will appear in future versions as information becomes available. So keep checking this mScape for updates.
